Everything you need to know about Fontana.
Fontana opening hours
Oct 1 to May 31: every day from 11:00-21:00
Jun 1 to Sep 30: every day from 10:00-21:00

Please note that the geyser baths at Fontana are currently closed due to renovations, but the Geothermal Bakery tour is operated daily.
When can I join a Geothermal Bakery tour?
We have daily Geothermal Bakery tours year-round at 11:45 and 13:30.

Between June 1 and September 30, we add a third tour at 10:15.
Can I buy rye bread on site?
Yes, depending on the geyser activity.
Most of the time, we have fresh tastings and whole loafs for sale, just ask one of our team members.
Unfortunately, we can't ship bread abroad.
Do I need to book in advance?
We recommend that you book tickets in advance, but tickets can also be purchased at Fontana's reception for walk-in guests, as long as we're not sold out.

For groups with more than ten guests, please contact us at fontana@fontana.is
What is your cancellation policy?
